We had a great ride today. It was kind of an impromtu tour of Memphis. We went West from the Superlo past Stax to the the Ornamental Metal Museum. Stopped for pictures above the river and moved on to the Farmers Market on Front Street. From there we toured Mud Island, a piece of North Memphis and headed back East on Parkway (soon to have new bikelanes). The group then split at McLean with part going back to the Superlo via the Greenline, while the rest of us headed North through a piece of Frayser and then back to Superlo. It was a great ride through a variety of neighborhoods, with residents at different points cheering us on. Good group, 21 in all, and a fine ride.
