Are you a saint who went to church on Sunday morning? Or are you a sinner who partied too much and just woke up on Sunday afternoon? Either way, this is the ride for you. We try to be aware of riders with different abilities and pace preferences - we will try to not really drop anyone, but sometimes we fail at this endeavor. Varied routes, mostly urban. Lots of bumps, holes, tracks and glass. Orange Mound, Windermere, Frayser, Shelby Farms, Pornos and Prisons Route, North Mississippi, Beale, Summer Avenue, trolley tracks, Hooters, Stax, Elmwood Hospital. Flats can happen - be prepared. Want a tame, sedate, bucolic, suburban nature ride? This isn't it. Continues all year long.

This ride is a grass roots advocacy movement focused on creating an avenue for women of diverse backgrounds to embrace cycling together. It is for WOMEN and lead by WOMEN to build and grow a community of WOMEN cyclists in the Memphis area and its surrounding suburbs.
The ride will be held offered April through October. Update will be provided on the Facebook page for this ride. Click the 'Info' icon and scroll to the bottom of the page - click 'Events' to see upcoming Dates/Locations/Ride Info.
Safety requirements to ride: Bicycle Helmet, working front headlight and rear light. That's it! Wear what you want - bright colors are best (visibility) and no, you aren't required to wear spandex or bike jerseys.
The ride is laying the foundation for a new revolution of group riding. It will be held in a different location each month to introduce women to new areas and other women about town that enjoy cycling too!
Each month’s ride will be led by different female ride leaders who have come together and volunteered to showcase and introduce women riders to the many different areas of Memphis.

Start Location: Stage/Fletcher Trace
Come join for a rolling to hilly route 16 to 27 miles on suburban and country roads through Lakeland and Arlington. This is an A/B/C/D ride. With the group spreading out in the climbs, we regroup at major intersections and hill tops. We also stop at the Arlington Depot where water is available.
This is a no-drop, fun rides through parts of Collierville, east Memphis, and Germantown. Originally designed as a moderate training rides, it includes several slightly hilly sections and some higher-speed flat sections.
New start location: White Station and Park at Eastgate center next to Mellow Mushroom and Michaels parking lot.
The Hump Day Ride is a social and friendly ride offering multiple group ride options for those cycling enthusiasts with different abilities and pace performances, from a moderate/intermediate pace to Advanced pace and even an upper/elite group.
This is a self-supported ride which averages from 14 to 22 mph with a half-way rest stop.
No riders will be dropped and all riders will regroup to catch-up with other riders on several points of the ride.
You can socialize with other biking enthusiasts at Mellow Mushroom afterwards with food and drinks.
The ride departs from Collierville Town Square, just off Poplar Ave. at Main St. and Washington (across from the water tower). It follows several scenic routes south of Collierville. This is a no drop ride and has A, B and C level ride groups.
During the winter months, limited group(s) may continue the route, so please check the Facebook Group.
The offering of all ride groups typically will run from the daylight savings time change in March to the time change in the fall or until it gets too dark to ride safely. The ride may be cancelled due to weather. Ride announcements will be made on Facebook.
Shady Grove Soiree

Route: Flat, Moderate, Hilly, Some Challenging
Soiree: an evening party or social gathering, especially one held for a particular purpose. Extra points if you can pronounce the word correctly, however articulate speech is not required - sweat & slobber usually is! Come join us... parking is behind Swanky’s. The route out is slower and has several stops and re-groups. After the Big House Loop, we re-group, but we do not take a break. The route back into town is typically faster, so we are usually back at Swanky's by 8:00.
This is a B and C pace ride—B average speed of 16.5 mph, 18–19 mph on the flats. And a C pace ride averaging about 14.5 mph, and 16–18 mph on the flats. The main route starts at Bellevue and goes north on Appling, to Brother Blvd, to Germantown Road and on to Memphis-Arlington. If we take the short route we’ll cut through Davies Plantation. Otherwise we’ll scoot out to Chambers Chapel Road, south to Monroe, cross Canada Road, Kingsridge to Davies Plantation to Fletcher Trace with our SAG stop at the Quick Stop. Then Fletcher Trace, Berryhill, Grove, and beautiful Morning Sun. Next we take Lenow, Macon, Rebel, Cordova Park, Macon, and Buckeye. Then Rocky Point, Sanga, Fay, B Street, and onto the Greenline. We cruise down to Macon, over to Mullins Station, to Kirby Whitten, to Goodlett Farms and back to Bellevue. Since this is a new ride we’ll make adjustments to pace and route as necessary.
The Tour De Bartlett ride starts and ends at the Bartlett Rec Center (7700 Flaherty Place off of Appling Road) on Thursday Evenings. The ride leaves promptly at 6pm. A & B Groups have a 26 mile route, while the C group has a 21 mile route. The pace for each group will be as advertised but these are no drop rides. Come join us!
B, C, D Groups are supported between April and October 1st.
This weekly ride is led by members of the IP Cycling Team to prepare them for the MS150. You do not have to be on IP Cycling Team to join this ride. We will all start with the same distances at the beginning of the season. For those that want to ride a longer route, we will head back out to do a longer ride. We hope you will join us. Time to 7:00AM after the RWB Ride. Time to 8:00 after the MS150.

This ride is a B ride with only a rough average of 16.5 - 17 mph, cruising about 18 – 19 mph on the flats. There are two routes that leads us down to Collierville and back, both including the 'Go, Jim, Go' neighborhood, where the kids cheer us on, if they are out.
DiD is still around, now as a MHBC group ride. Mike and/or Terry will be leading a beginners/slow group every week, but groups of all experience levels will be there. We will start out at the parking lot to the Germantown Trail head of the Wolf River Trails. The route will vary each week depending on the trail conditions. We will go out and back on the Yellow and Blue trails regrouping at the Levees and other landmarks. Once back at the lot the ride ends but it is typical for folks to hang out with some refreshing beverages.
NEW START LOCATION for 2018. Ride will leave from St Philip Episcopal Church at the intersection of Davies Plantation & Davies Manor. The ride will continue during the winter as long as the temperature is above 40 degrees at start time. Routes are currently 43, 53 and 65 miles, with an average speed of 16-18 mph. Rest stops approximately every hour.
The Saturday Smoothie Cruise ride is a great social ride that has several options for distances. As the year progresses, the main group will do a loop of close to 50 miles. But, there are several shortcuts that many of our riders take to make the ride either 25 or 35 miles. This is a no drop ride that enjoys great conversation as much as a beautiful route through Collierville, Germantown and east Memphis. We always stop for a SAG stop at Tropical Smoothies great snack on a long ride. The ride will go all year as long as we can start above 40 degrees.
Weekly ride to Downtown Arlington. Once there riders can chose between riding 40 miles, or some add the Long Road Loop for another 11 miles giving them 51 miles. On top of the normal routes, several other options are available for up to a 58 mile route. During the year, many of these routes are utilized.c Moderate pace going out, over all about 17 for the entire ride. This is a no drop ride.
Advanced Intermediate: Year-round. Riders may be dropped. No sweep.
Intermediate Level: There is typically a group that covers the same route as the "Advanced Intermediate" riders but at a more relaxed pace. This group averages 12-15 mph and generally tries to avoid dropping riders. The weekly Saturday ride is self-supported and makes a half-way rest stop. There is no fee for the ride and is open to the public. This is an ideal introductory ride for cyclists interested in learning more about our club, or who just enjoy riding with others.

Start Location: Veterans Plaza Doughboy Statue in Overton Park
Join us on the Midtown Chill Ride as we take various routes around the city. We meet at Veterans Plaza in Overton Park (Veterans Plaza Drive close to the Shell/College of Art). Helmets are mandatory and rear lights are highly recommended. Speed is controlled to a "D" pace which means a maximum of 16 MPH on a flat road and an end of ride average of 12-14 MPH. Distance is usually in the 10-20 mile range. No one gets dropped and we try to stay as one group to safely navigate traffic. We take rest stops as needed. The ride is seasonal and will start Sunday, April 8th and go thru the Sunday, November 4th.

Start Location: Target Parking Lot (closer to Colonial Road)

The Colonial Queens Ride is a friendly beginner’s ride that is in coexistence with Black Girls Do Bike (BGDB) for female participants looking for an easy casual ride. This is a no drop “D” paced ride that travels by the UofM and the midtown area before heading back to Target. The weekly Thursday ride is self-supported and makes a stop along the way to allow slower riders to catch up. The group will stop along the route to accommodate differing speeds and to safely navigate traffic signals. We will regroup and take rest stops as needed. The ride is seasonal and will start Thursday, April 6 and go through mid-October.

Lil’ Rippers is a beginner friendly youth ride. Join the Lil' Rippers for a 7+ mile off-road ride. This ride is a youth ride, but a guardian does need to be present. The ride will start at 6pm and they will ride the Yellow trail and back the blue Trail. The ride will have a ride leader. No Training wheels. If a parent is not able to ride they must secure their own guardian to ride along. Ride leaders are not to be used as guardians. This is not a drop the kids off and run errands event. This ride will take place until daylight savings time and possibly move to the weekend due to lack of daylight.
Please make sure you have a mountain bike in good condition, (no road or commuter bikes!). No Training Wheels, a helmet, a spare tube and inflation method, hydration and lights... Helmet required. Gloves recommended.
This is a Beginner Friendly Womens Off-Road Ride Beginners Group. Angela will lead this group (6-10 miles). Wheels on the ground, ready to ride at 9:00 am At 8:45 am will do a weekly Basic Skills review of various topics and trail maneuvers.
Please make sure you have a mountain bike in good condition, (no road or commuter bikes!), a helmet, a spare tube and inflation method, and plenty of water. Helmet required.
Ride will end 10:30-11am.
