Cycle For Safety

CYCLE FOR SAFETY
APRIL 18, 2020

Bringing attention to safe cycling and cooperation between motorists and drivers is key to this event.
Remembering Cory Horton, one of the founding members of our team, is another goal of this event.
This year we will have a shorter ride, in addition to a metric century ride to Cory's memorial site.
CFS money has been used to purchase "Share The Road" and Bike Caution road signs in past years.

In 2017, MTR used some funds to support Adopt A Highway on Germantown Parkway. In 2013, MTR gave checks for $2500 to the cities of Germantown and Collierville for additional signage and bike lanes. In 2016, proceeds purchased six "Share The Road" signs in Lakeland, TN. In 2018, road signs were purchased for the Town of Somerville and "Share the Road" car stickers were distributed at LBS for free.
