CPR Class: Be Ready When It Matters
Heart health matters, but some things are out of our control. Over the years our club has lost members to heart problems, and we want our riders ready to step in when every second counts. That’s why we’ve added CPR to our class lineup.
When: Classes run during the winter months, since the clubhouse has no air conditioning. (Donations toward AC are always welcome!)
How long: Plan on 3–4 hours. We’ll have snacks, water and sodas, but you’re welcome to bring your own food.
Class size: Each class is limited to 12 people. Our registration system can’t cap individual classes automatically, so we close each one by hand once it reaches 12. Before you register, check the registrant list to see how many spots are left.
Pricing
- Ride Leaders: FREE. CPR training isn’t required for Ride Leaders, but we want to make it easy for you to be prepared on every ride.
- Members: $25. Most CPR classes cost $45–$80.
- Certification card (optional): $20, which is just what the card costs us.
