Anyone interested in participating in the North-to-South event 9/15/07? Details can be found at

It is not a race, but functions as a randonneuring brevet, for 157 miles. The ride will depart promptly at 7:00 AM CDT. The time limit for this ride is 16 hours 40 minutes, or 11:40 PM CDT on Saturday evening. Anyone who finishes within this maximum time limit can be awarded "credit" (french term is "brevet") for this randonneuring event.\
Because this is a point-to-point event, and there are no accomodations at the endpoint, participants are wise to collaborate to arrange for drop-off (and/or pick-up).
