I am posting this for Simone Loket...she couldn't figure out how to post...and I had a problem figuring out where to post. Doesn't look like many look at this forum.
Simone was driving 3 cars behind a car that was driving "funny" this morning in the predawn hours on Kirby Whitten near the Yale Rd intersection. She saw the car apply the brakes several times. She knows the police hang out here and thought this was a police car or that they were slowing down for a police car. But then, she saw what looked like a garbage bag flying up in the air and sparks coming out from under the car. She thought that the car had a mechanical until she got close enough to see the car had hit two cyclists. She called 911, and gave her name and number and stopped long enough to see that there was help, and police were coming, then she had to leave. She called the Bartlett Police later and said she was a witness and gave them her info. Honestly, when Simone got to our ride this morning she was still in shock.
