I leave from the Park and White Station area and head south on Perkins. Do NOT stay on Perkins past American Way. The road narrowa, is full of pot holes, and is the World Headquarters for idiot drivers. I go west on American Way (past the old mall of Memphis). The road turns into Tchulahoma and turns South. I take it all the way into DeSoto County. I live in Nesbit but if you took a left on Stateline Road the route will take you to West Olive Branch.

A friend is considering attempting to cycle from the University of Memphis area to Olive Branch. He usually drives on Lamar. Is Hacks Cross cycle-able ? Is there a decent bicycle route heading south out of Memphis ? Thanks
