O.K., it soulds like the best way to get from Graceland to downtown is in an amored vehicle.
The question was poised by a cyclist from Michigan who is coming down for Memphis in May.
There is also a group of tandem riders coming into Memphis to catch the Delta Queen. This is the 2nd year they have peddled from downtown to Graceland and back. I will try to find out which route they use.

First question I would ask is who wants to know? Is it someone from out of town? I would not suggest having an out of towner going through some of the neighborhoods that you will need to go through to get to downtown from Graceland. Heck, I wouldn't even try it.

The roads aren't great and the neighborhoods are rough along Florida but traffic isn't too bad.
It is just less than 10 miles though, so you can pedal real fast!
